Zubrowka vodka is hand crafted in the North Podlasie Lowland of Poland in a region called Bialowieza, the last primeval forest in Europe, which holds the only wild bison herd in Europe. This is also home to the distinctively aromatic plant (bison-grass) which still resists cultivation and to this day is harvested by hand. Every bottle still holds one blade of this grass which helps intensify the flavour. Great served as a shot or in long cocktails replacing plain vodkas.
